Greetings from all of us here at Serenity Now.

I (Brooke ) want to thank you for being the biggest part of the miracles that are unfolding in our lives.

During these uncertain times we want to be here for you more than ever. Thanks to modern technology we are accessible by phone or facetime even though the doors are closed. We have scheduled several classes, but please verify if they are being held in person or by technology. All readings and sessions can still be done over the phone or facetime. Here is our regular email:

I was led to reprint portions of an email that we had sent out in June 2017.

In the mid 1930’s, a twelve year old boy named Roy Spencer found a large black rock near Queensland, Australia. He showed it to his father Harry who was a miner. Harry assumed the rock was worthless, but since it was large, instead of throwing it away the family used it as a doorstop for almost ten years.

In 1947, an American born jeweler, Harry Kazanjiam bought the stone realizing that it was a black sapphire. He cut it revealing a brilliant six pointed star. Today, the gem is called Black Star of Queensland and it is 733 carats. Many believe that it is priceless. At one point, it was on loan to the Smithsonian Institute as part of a display with the Hope Diamond.

As I was thinking about what is happening on a global level, I thought about this priceless treasure. I can take this gem and use it as a metaphor for our identity. Then if I can only remember that I am a child of the most High God, and that Jesus had said that I can do the things that he has done and even greater. (John 14:12)

The truth in this situation is what will set me free, which is to see the divine and the infinite in myself and others. It is more than enough to handle any circumstance. No matter how hard or insurmountable it seems.
